Put together a live cooking show, a famous Dutch chef and the largest non-digital media campaign ever executed in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands – including Eet Theater Entrance domination and a sprinkle of sparkle in the form of a branded Christmas tree – and you have all the ingredients for a blockbuster campaign by Disney.
The special recipe for 2022’s festive branded partnership was a bone fide crowd pleaser. Visitors filled Fresh! – the mall’s indoor food hall – for the cookery demonstration, posed for and shared photos of themselves and their families beside the tree, and poured into the dedicated Disney+ experience that was another feature of the campaign, where they were invited to explore a variety of series and movies available on the streaming service.
And with all activations supported by the mall’s own online media channels, including its website, social media posts and newsletters, there was plenty of extra helpings to go round.
